1.
Knives 03:49
Faces surround you as your eyelids close. You fear that your body will decompose. But your only mirror is the long knives. Reflection soon unknown. With severed dreams and thin skin slit, a century is blown. Ooooh Ooooh Expired. Voices confound you beyond your black hole. You fear that the daydream is much too old. The context-free periphery is sipping that swift demise. The pointlessness should be freeing, but you're sick, paralyzed. Ooooh Ooooh Expired. Never again.
2.
Ylajali 03:38
This brain is overflowing. Death to all doubt. Divinity thickening my love. Squalor and decay. Once my destiny. My pencil will stab this poverty. Ohh. Savior. Peeking Sun. From gallowsbird to apparition. She clutches her parasol. A face pale to scarlet. And I don't even know what I want. But, oh, to her, I'm drawn. I whisper, "Ylajali". Ohh. I could have been wrong. We all think we are brilliant when we're young. Since you were alone with me. You've covered your face. And I don't even know what I've become. But, oh, to you, I'm drawn. I whisper, "Ylajali". You're not quite sure. If I exist. Fell in a crowd. This ghost persists. Ahhhh.
3.
Memory Thief 03:21
Your smug face still keeps me awake at night. Though I've not seen it for awhile. You dirty, old, wretched thief. Jacking my memories. Replacing them with your defective smile. Ohh. I hope the punishment for all you've done. Is some, like, boring afterlife. A VHS tape spinning. Compiled of your worst scenes. Your eyes held open as you stare at mine. Ohh. Now every time I try to speak I mess it up. It's perfect in my mind. Pathetic when it's out. Burying my memories. Now every time I try to speak I mess it up.
4.
Player Piano 03:26
Stop me before I confess this lie. A sweet song, Aurora. Bitter with time. I will just deflect the truth to never hear that sour note. My broken fingers pretending to play on a player piano. It's in the tea leaves. I'm all defined. Slumped o'er mock ivory. Diverted eyes. I could have played the melody laughing from a crowded bench. But solitude has sold me on never having to repent. Ohhhh. You will languish here to death. Over mock ivory.
5.
Microphone 05:15
A shock to the lips. As I press them to the microphone. That heavenly click. As the magnetic reel starts to roll. I can dictate your life as I want. All I say becomes how your world turns out. My love, Your love. An imminent end. If I ever wind up alone. Tossing cut up tape. Over this broken microphone. I can't relate to all the flesh and blood. It's not what I say. It's all the lackthereof. So, my loss, your loss.
6.
Wait! I have proof! The face of your youth. Returns beyond the grave. Pristine, if not depraved. Faith? I have proof! Wait! I have proof! Your favorite version of you. Is all we'll ever know. Your coronation always holds. Faith? I have proof!
7.
Silence 04:49
The spectators would laugh. 'Neath a dirty moon the clouds cut in half. Grief-stung and vicious. I've murderous visions. Of a blood-stained ampersand. Your silence is violent. Wilderness frightening. Escaping all alone. Why won't you answer me? Certain death sans a plan. Antiquated drill spinning in my hand. The trees sway in rhythm. O'er this bleating schism. Blackening this brutal land. Your silence is violent. Not my caterwauling. Hysterical all alone. Why won't you answer me? Your silence is violent. Ohhhhhh.
8.
You shall not be shackled by the past. Your vision and libido are improving. You've no reason to lie or flatter yourself. "Eyes once blue, now grey as seawater". Your phantasmagorical fears will all finally burn. It's all so clear now. A paranoiac's love. It's all so clear now. Eyes cut open their skulls. They're all just looking for an answer. Susceptible and so young. Top of your head. You've all the answers. Ship of disrepute sailing on. It's all so clear now. A paranoiac's love. It's all so clear now. Eyes cut open their skulls.
9.
Flag Unfurls 03:06
The slow, sleet burn. As her flag unfurls. The needle spits those sweet sighs out all night. You can't recall the infinity lies. The foundation shakes. As the solstice aches. Softly slip from your immediate mind. With sharp liquid and shades over your eyes. You sing, "Where are you my loneliness? Don't stay with me my one regret until I die, until I die." No daily news. Just salt stained boots. Haphazardly strewn all across the floor. In the urgency of wanting something more. A changing of the guard. A luck no longer hard. With senses strong except for your vision. The night turns to an electrical hum, and you sing, "Where are you my loneliness? Don't stay with me my one regret until I die, until I die."
10.
I want to grow old, but the days move slowly, so slowly. Youth is a burden. Anesthetize my lust for love. Oooohh. Greenish blue eyes chase me through the dark. Sweetly they roll 'til my defenses fade out. Tape shut my eyelids. Milk white skin is dripping everywhere. I surrender my stare. Oh, snip these heartstrings. This lascivious pull is shaking all my bones. Greenish blue eyes chase me through the dark. Sweetly they roll 'til my defenses fade out.
